The profile and listing history do not fit
A recently created profile, sudden location change, unrelated old posts or many copied listings can indicate a compromised or disposable account.
The seller avoids specific evidence
For valuable items, request a current photo or video showing a detail you choose. Reused catalogue images and refusal to answer product questions weaken the listing.
The conversation moves away from the platform
Requests to switch immediately to private messaging can remove platform records and protections. Keep important terms in writing.
Payment or delivery links arrive in messages
Open the official marketplace, courier or payment app yourself. Fake links may imitate login, delivery-fee or verification pages to steal credentials.
A screenshot is used as proof of payment
Sellers should confirm money inside their own account. Buyers should not pay a deposit simply because a profile or delivery screenshot appears convincing.
