Editorial and evidence policy

Our goal is to publish clear, useful consumer-safety information while distinguishing verified facts, automated signals, community allegations and editorial guidance.

Evidence standards

We prefer direct business information, observable website signals, linked official alerts and specific supporting details. We avoid presenting an unverified community submission as a proven fact.

Community reports

Reports may be reviewed, edited for clarity, withheld or removed when they contain personal data, threats, spam, unsupported claims or content unrelated to transaction safety. Publication does not mean BeforeYouPay independently verified every claim.

Corrections and updates

Businesses and users may request a correction by identifying the relevant page or report and providing supporting evidence. Material corrections should preserve accuracy and avoid silently changing the meaning of the record.
